Ordered a take away afternoon tea from here and it was superb! Delicious food, beautifully presented and very generous portions - Some of us had cake for breakfast the next day! Scones were fresh out the oven and just heavenly! A perfect treat for our special conversation.

A wonderful find in Stroud. Lovely staff, especially the owner Claire and absolutely delicious, freshly prepared food. She made me a tasty ham and cheese salad sandwich for my train journey back to London. I also had some cake, which was delicious. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Stroud.

I would highly recommend The little ginger deli. Their food is always amazing and the afternoon tea is above and beyond spectacular! Everyone who works there is always so friendly and welcoming. Claire (owner) especially, she’s so warm and you can tell so much love goes into everything. Thank you for another wonderful show stopper!

We had the quiche. It was fabulous and it comes with 4 salads. Salad options are Courgette, Greek, hummus, olives, coleslaw, green and more. Lovely staff. Gifts like jams, biscuits, tea and more. Staff was great. Seating outside and inside. We heard the Thai salad is good. A gluten free dessert, not sure what else is gluten free but I imagine they have options.

I've been to many afternoon teas in my time and this was by far my favourite! The portions are so generous and the food is delicious and homemade. You also get two drinks with the meal, and not just tea or coffee, I had a peach iced tea and a chai latte. I've been recommending it to all my friends. The best afternoon tea I've ever had, thank you Little Ginger!

We pop into The Little Ginger Deli pretty regularly – either for a weekend bite or a quick lunch during the week – and it’s always brilliant.
The food’s just so good. The carrot cake and chocolate cake are favourites, but honestly, every cake we’ve tried has been amazing.
I usually go for one of their salad boxes for lunch – really fresh, loads of flavour, and always filling.
It’s a lovely little spot with a great atmosphere, and the staff are always friendly.
Our whole family genuinely recommends it – well worth a visit if you’re in Stroud!- Service

Amazing afternoon tea at the Little Ginger. Such a good selection, we liked the good balance between savoury and sweet as most afternoon teas have too much of the sweet stuff, this was a good balance, tasty sandwiches. All staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend.

My daughter treated me to afternoon tea this afternoon and despite a booking error, we had the most amazing platter including generously filled sandwiches, the best tasting quiche, sausage roll and scotch egg and some amazing sweet treats. Excellent value for money and one of the best afternoon teas we’ve had. The staff could not have been more attentive. We will definitely do this again.

We had a lovely mocha at this nice cafe in Stroud. They also have lovely cakes and pastries. The staff were nice and friendly. We sat outside and just watched the world go by. They are also dog friendly, and we saw some lovely dogs with their owners.

Went to a babyshower today and was blown away with the food! I had the gluten free options and it was the best gluten free food I have had out. The scone, quiche and cakes were the best gluten free ones I’ve ever had! Amazing will definitely be back x

Very nice cafe/deli I had Cappacino and made my own sandwich pastrami blue cheeses and ploughmans pickle. My wife had Tuna melt. Very nice food highly recommended.

Little Ginger has just the sandwiches to give them a work out, see picture, hand added for scale.
You design your own sandwich really, choose a meat from an excellent range including hams and pastrami, and then choose a cheese from a range any restaurant would be proud to put on their cheeseboard, and then choose pickles, again from a healthy field of condiments. It was a monster ( but in a really good way)!
My partner bottled out (just a bit) and went for half a sandwich and soup of the day. Both were excellent, and we attempted a large slab cake too but ended up packing that off with us for later.
The team are a winning group...so helpful, cheerful, and professional, and I really hope that these guys get the footfall they deserve because this is a top notch sandwich / deli.Owner response

Fantastic service from the moment I contacted them, Saw a photo of a brownie stack and made enquiries about getting one for an 18th birthday .Was so easy to arrange and Any questions were easily answered and the end product was Amazing !! Great flavours and looked incredible so much time and effort had gone into making it . Can't thank Clare and team enough 🥰
